Not so fast, Djukanovic
Article Abstract:
There is a strong movement toward independence in Montenegro, Yugoslavia, and there is concern that this could lead to a conflict with Serbia. Montenegro's president is Milo Djukanovic, and he is concerned about the impact of sanctions against Yugoslavia, and the impact of bombing on Montenegro. Independence for Montenegro would also raise questions about the status of Kosovo, Yugoslavia, since Yugoslavia would no longer exist if Montenegro were to leave.
