Political, trade and finance experts comment on the takeover bid for Unocal by a Chinese state owned company Cnooc Ltd. Unocal is a United States based energy company. Many in United States are viewing the deal with suspicion and warn of security complications emerging from the deal. The benefits from the deal to China too are also analyzed.
