Winning the (legitimate) drug war

Article Abstract:

Pharmaceutical companies are implementing new logistics programs that are designed to provide sales representatives with more time to sell. The time-definite delivery program ensures drug sample delivery to salespeople's homes within a two-hr window which seeks to reduce downtime and make them more competitive. A case in point is Roche Laboratories' sample-delivery program which is operated from a USF Worldwide dedicated satellite office. The program has provided sales reps with benefits and has improved the profitability of the client's inventory functions.
