Working a miracle deal

Article Abstract:

Charterhouse Development Capital (CDC) and Advent have helped complete a deal bringing together the UK arm of Miracle Gro, owned by Stern from the US, and Zeneca Agrochemicals' gardens business. A new company has been set up called Miracle Garden Care. The new company has sales totalling some 30 million pounds sterling and it should achieve a profit of some 8 million pounds for the 12 months to Sep 1995. The company can offer products for both professional and amateur gardeners.
