200 jobs to be cut at Tenet hospitals

Tenet Healthcare Corp. will layoff 200 workers at four of the eight Philadelphia area hospitals it has acquired from Allegheny. Most of the reduction will be from housekeeping, food services and other support staff.. The cuts were precipitated by a drop in patient volume which is not expected to recover.
