Forecasts on Baton Rouge's economy are presented. According to LSU economist Loren Scott, an economic recession will not seriously affect the city. His economic report also points out that the housing slump intensity in other states will be not be felt in the city. Unlike in Baron Rouge, other areas experience a rapid increase in home prices.
