Air Canada has escalated its legal battle with WestJet Airlines Ltd. by seeking $220-million in compensation and damages from its rival for allegedly using stolen information to advance its own commercial interest. The ongoing, unlawful exploitation of Air Canada's confidential information has caused it substantial loss, including loss of incremental revenue and goodwill, as a result its place in the market is irreparably damaged.

Region broadens drive for visitors
Article Abstract:
The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau would advertise the region to European vacationers through online travel site Expedia.com as part of the bureau's new marketing plan. The plan for fiscal 2005 also includes efforts to sell an expanded Convention Center to meeting planners and to make it more fun to take a bus tour of the city.
