The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's monthly Business Outlook Survey revealed that the percentage of companies that reported improved conditions dropped from 37.2 percent to 29.5 percent in the month of September 2004. The local business operators expressed mixed views for the decline in business for this period.
