Happy trails
Article Abstract:
Construction of greenways in East Baton Rouge Parish is expected to enhance the city's economy, social welfare, environment conditions and the health of its residents. However, some residents feel that the trails may increase crime rate in the area, and in response, planners assert that there is no concrete evidence of the relation between crimes and trails. Greenways' role in increasing property value is discussed.
