Law firms in Phila., Baltimore to merge
Article Abstract:
Saul, Ewing, Remick & Saul of Center City, PA, will consolidate its law practice with Baltimore, MD-based Weinberg & Green in one of the region's largest legal merger deals. Partners of both firms have already approved the agreement, which will not involved the exchange of money. The merger, which will take effect in October 1998, expands the geographic presence of both firms, extending from New York to Maryland. Both firms hope that consolidating their legal staffs will considerably expand their operation in such specialized services, including health care, environment and employee rights and pensions.
