Morgan Stanley castaways rebound

Most of the senior stock-pickers escorted out of Morgan Stanley's West Conshohocken office have already found work in Philadelphia's healthy investment sector. The senior stock-pickers were hired by investment firm in places such as Berwyn, Radnor, Center and New York City.

PhilEx renews bid for growth after collapse of merger talks

New York, NY-based National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) has terminated its takeover talks with the 206-year-old Philadelphia Stock Exchange after the year-old negotitations collapsed. The approximately 2,000 workers and local stock dealer firms at the member-owned Philadelphia Stock Exchange now appear to be secure.
