SEPTA approves Reading rail line
Article Abstract:
The SEPTA board has approved a $1.4 billion project that will create a new train line that will carry up to 50,000 passengers between Philadelphia and Reading, Pennsylvania. The transit agency proposed the 62-mile Schuykill Valley Metrorail, which will receive Federal Transit Administration funding, to serve the fast-developing Montgomery and Chester Counties.

Cut Bank town oil wells are running dry, its refineries and many of its downtown businesses are vanished and five years drought has destroyed the farmers, which has lead to a slow and steady exodus of its people. Hence, Cut Bank and other struggling towns could also lose the vital train service, which connects the town to the rest of the world.

SEPTA's new rail plan hits roadblock
Article Abstract:
SEPTA's plans to link Philadelphia with its northern and western suburbs hit a snag when Norfolk Southern Corp. said it would not share its freight track with SEPTA passenger cars, nor would it allow right-of-way to light rail beyond Norristown. The new service would relieve traffic congestion in Montgomery and Chester counties.
