Chester County-based Shared Medical Systems Corp., a computer services firm, has reported that Delray Beach, Fla.-based Eclipsys Corp. has withdrawn its $2 billion hostile acquisition bid. Eclipsys is seeking an alliance that would allow it to control the Internet business-to business sector for hospital and other health-care supplies.
