Michael Mosley, a mechanical engineer, one of about 30 engineers and technicians at Advent Design Corp., Bristol, designs machines for manufacturers. However, a fundamental issue about the interplay between automation and labor arises as experts estimate that one-third of the two million American manufacturing jobs lost in the last decade were the result of machines taking over human work.

Frankly, he's loving the dog days

Todd S. Chusid left his high-paying and high-stressed corporate job requiring frequent travel to open a hot-dog shop called Johnnie's Dog House along with his wife in Wayne. In planning the store Todd Chusid did a lot of research and met various food and paper suppliers, people in business, accountants and financial advisors and is really loving his hot-dog business.
