The planned Pinnacle casino, called Riviere, would be the third casino in Baton Rouge, and the bid to build it will depend on the voters on February 9, 2008. Issues have been raised regarding its location and economic benefits. The casino's economic and social costs and issues on its competition with Hollywood Casino and Belle of Baton Rouge are discussed.
