The roles and responsibilities of administrative professionals are discussed. A report by the Department of Labor shows that 58,619 individuals in Baton Rouge, Louisiana work in office and administrative support occupations. Trends also show that the duties of administrative professionals have increased. The Baton Rouge International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) chapter's celebration of its 50th anniversary on October 25, 2007 is also mentioned.
