Article Abstract:
When 29-year-old Joshua Kopelman founded Half.com a year ago, he wanted his e-commerce site to be something between a retailer like Amazon.com and an auction site like eBay. Half.com sold used books, tapes, CDs, video games and movies to its 250,000 customers. The firm will now be acquired by eBay for at least $312 million, but will remain in Pennsylvania with its 70 employees.
