Yves Behar, chair of the industrial design program at California College of the Arts, shares his views on being appointed and his future plans. His decision to accept the post was influenced by the support of the school towards change and a strong design point of view.

Duravit headquarters in Hornberg, Germany, designed by Philippe Starck

Article Abstract:

Duravit, the bath-fixture manufacturer, in December 2004 opened a five-story headquarters in the medieval town of Hornberg. The $14.3 million, 54,000-square-foot building is designed by Philippe Starck and the showrooms contained display the Happy D sink and bathtub.
