A play in building supply issues?
Article Abstract:
The construction materials industry is showing signs of a rally in its securities. These issues are trading at thin volumes at prices marking their annual lows. Other signals of an upcoming rally include insider buying, good timing and some buy recommendations from Wall Street analysts. The first is a sign that industry insiders are optimistic about the value of their shares under future business conditions. The securities evincing insider action are Medusa Corp., Lone Star Industries Inc., Puerto Rican Cement Co., Texas Industries Inc., Insteel Industries Inc. and Elcor Corp.

Article Abstract:
Stock trading analysts believe that insiders will sell soon, after a year of constant buying in 1994 despite the bearish atmosphere characterized by rising interest rates and the low Dow level earlier in the year. It seems that 1994 was a year of massive accumulation for insiders. Investors expect the government to provide a more beneficial capital tax treatment. They are waiting for the Dow levels to top the 4,000 level before selling.
