ABP's BIN slated for 3rd quarter launch
Article Abstract:
The American Business Press (ABP) is in charge of the launching of the Business Information Network (BIN), a tracking service that aims to tally ad pages and revenue for business-to-business titles. ABP is set to begin gathering numbers in Jul. 1996 in time for the publishing of the first report in the 3rd qtr. of 1996, which will contain tallied ad revenue and pages from particular advertisers by brand, division and parent company. The launch of the ad tracking service was previously hampered by membership and financial issues among trade magazine publishers.
