Accounting and the holocausts of modernity
Article Abstract:
The article examines the use of accounting practices to develop and implement an ideological framework for public policies governing indigenous peoples in the Canadian Indian Department during the early 20th century. The article then demonstrates how accounting practices can influence rhetorical space to provide challenges to public policy.
