An empirical study of salesperson stereotypes amongst UK students and their implications for recruitment

Article Abstract:

A survey among UK business students showed that respondents have negative stereotype of salespeople, explaining the negative perceptions of selling as a career demonstrated in previous studies. Profiles of salespeople were created based on the survey results, and positive aspects of the stereotype were found. The implications of the stereotype on the recruitment of retail companies are also discussed.

Consumers's perceptions of mail-order speciality foods

Article Abstract:

Consumers' perceptions of mail-order speciality foods were studied. Their perceptions of the benefits focused on quality, convenience and uniqueness, although they perceived higher levels of risk compared to in-store shopping. Two distinct sectors of active mail-order shoppers were identified, those who are product-oriented and those who are mail-order oriented.

A comparative study between United Kingdom and United states: the student satisfaction in higher education and its influential factors

Article Abstract:

A comparative study of the perception of education quality of students in the United States and the United Kingdom is presented. The results are based on a research conducted on 322 postgraduate business students of both schools.
