Analysing the analysts

Article Abstract:

Services of financial analysts are highly in demand for financial reports and reporting practices. Accountants are now competing with financial analysts in giving useful financial information outside the scope of traditional accounting and auditing principles. The scope of services provided by financial analysts are slightly similar to accountants but there are still differences between the two. Differences may be in the payment scheme received by both parties and in the analysts' willingness to provide evaluation in contrast to accountants who only certify that financial statements adhere to accounting standards and principles.
