Ateko will not pay dividends in 2001
Article Abstract:
Ateko (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic), engineering firm, saw a net profit of more than CEK 1.25 mil in 2000, on the same level as in 1999. The firm will not pay dividends from the 2000 profit. It will use a part of the profit for transfers to its social and reserve funds and the rest for re-investments. Ateko's proceeds totalled CEK 130 mil in 2000, nearly one-third more compared to 1999. The decisive part of the firm's production is represented by domestic contracts. Ateko is involved in the production of equipment for the environment, power engineering and the chemical industry.

Grafitec will take over Dobrusske Strojirny

Dobrusske strojirny (DS) (Dobruska, Czech Republic), engineering firm, should be closed. The firm's stock including rights and duties from labour-law relations should be taken over by Grafitec (Prague, Czech Republic). Grafitec is DS's majority shareholder. Besides, Grafitec controls Grafitec Dobruska (GD) (Czech Republic). Grafitec together with GD holds over a 91% stake in DS.
