Bookbuilding and strategic allocation
Article Abstract:
A paper on bookbuilding, in which investment bankers price stocks by soliciting bids from institutional investors, is presented. Research results reveal investment bankers favor regular investors, who are given favorable allocations of stocks.

A theory of the syndicate: form follows function
Article Abstract:
A paper on the moral hazard in team production as relates to investment banking syndicates is presented. Syndicates permit bankers to deepen their relationships with investors, thus resulting in higher proceeds.
