Business-to-Business Telemarketing; An Industry Specific Approach

Fortune 500 companies use telemarketing to sell a variety of very complex, sophisticated products and services. But business-to- business telemarketing utilizes completely different techniques than traditional business-to-consumer telemarketing. A packaged presentation is replaced with a script-on-the-fly and each sale requires many contacts and a more personal approach. Four rules of thumb and an example of selling a promotional marketing program are included.
