CIPFA South East: merging for strength
Article Abstract:
The South East Region and the South East Regional Students' Society of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) met to thresh out the difficulties that each organisation was facing and decide the best way to move forward. The meetings between both groups resulted in a proposal for merging the two bodies into a larger, unified organisation to be known as CIPFA South East (CSE). The unification on May 1992 will serve to improve communications within the area and with the institute. Contact with CIPFA colleagues will also be fostered by CSE through conferences and seminars.
