Chasing biotech, state by state-winners and losers
Article Abstract:
The San Francisco Bay area, Boston, San Diego, and others are identified as the biotech developments and these regions have in common, a large biomedical research infrastructure, a ready source of capital and critical mass of companies at various stages of developments. Biotech investment plans to cover state budget shortfalls are discussed.
