Marketing executives have various suggestions on how President-elect Bill Clinton can market his proposals and policies to the people. Most marketers proposed electronic town meetings where ideas can be included in a discussion database and people can access this and give their comments. Some suggest interactive communications where the people can respond via their television sets. Infomercials or information commercials used by H. Ross Perot may also be used to propagate policies.

Preparing for lift-off: two-thirds of the nation's marketing execs see greater sales in next six months
Article Abstract:
The results of a survey of 101 top marketers conducted in January 1993 are discussed. Most of the respondents noted positive signs in the business-to-business sales outlook but consider the economic recovery as relatively slow. Sixty-six per cent of the respondents expected improvement in the sales of their companies in the next six months, while 23.8% predicted sales remaining the same. Approximately 9% expected that the sales will get worse.
