Dmitry Morosov

Dmitry Morosov, a biotech entrepreneur from Moscow, wants to capitalize transforming untapped Russian scientific excellence into innovative biotech products. Morosov founded Biocad, a biotech company based on the outskirts of Moscow, who's business strategy aims at undercutting imported medicines and manufacturing generic versions of biologics on his home turf, marketing them at lower prices first in Russia and later in international markets.

New EU antitrust law burdens licensing

Article Abstract:

The European Commission (EC, Brussels) has implemented New Technology Transfer Block Exemption Regulations (TTBER) to define rules for companies to comply with licensing agreements so as not to hinder competition. Most biotech companies consider the guidelines complicated and disagree with some of the criteria necessary for exemption.
