Article Abstract:
The European Aeronautic Defense and Space Co. (EADS) aircraft, based on an Airbus A330200, was chosen as the preferred bidder for a 13 billion pound (US$24.94 billion) United Kingdom Royal Air force (RAF) aerial tanker contract. The U.K. is favoring EADS, which means that Air Tanker can begin the final stage of contract negotiations and work on financing for the Private Finance Initiative as soon as possible.
