Estimation of hand force in ergonomic job evaluations

Article Abstract:

A study aims to collect normative data of pinch and power grip strength with a newer digital dynamometer, study the ability of hand grip force matching using a hand dynamometer where the validity. Results showed that the power grip and pinch grip strengths collected with a newer digital dynamometer were comparable to similar studies using older equipment.

Quo vadis, neuroergonomics?

Article Abstract:

A comparison between traditional perspective and neuroergonomic perspective for research and designing in ergonomics is presented. Development of new, non-invasive brain examination method and advanced technologies are the two groups of factors stimulating the emergence of neuroergonomics.
