Estimation of the Variance Between Units of Given Size from Experimental Data

Article Abstract:

Between units variance is estimated to provide the determination of optimum unit size. A randomization model is used to yield the experimental units without assumptions. Explicit formulae are derived for completely randomized, randomized block, and balanced incomplete block designs.

Unbiased Statistical Estimation Functions for Parameters in Presence of Nuisance Parameters

Article Abstract:

The Cramer-Rad inequality theorem is extended to consider the problem of estimating a vector interesting parameter in the presence of nuisance parameters. Matrix standardization and optimization is achieved. A minimum variance concept is introduced.

Large Sample Theory of the Langevin Distribution

Article Abstract:

New methods are presented for fixed concentrations and large samples. An asymptotic equivalency is developed for likelihood ratio statistics. A geometric form is presented for ease in explanation.
