Article Abstract:

Video cameras are being used in alternative ways rather than seen as merely surveillance and security equipment. Web cams are being developed to be used for entertainment or information. Web cams have been placed in a restaurant in Jersey City, in a fridge and in an apartment, with the results being transmitted to Web sites. Firms which hope to further develop Web cams require the bandwidth to be improved before they can progress. Some observers predict Web cams will replace digital cams. Web cams in current use are fairly cheap but often give poor results.

Automobile tires have become as ubiquitous as the automobiles they support. However, very few people can appreciate the efforts that go into their design. Tires have been provided with a wide variety of tread patterns for practical and decorative purposes, since some are used on racing cars while others are for varied terrain. One triumph of tire design is the Goodyear Aquatred, which features a deep groove in the middle that supposedly increases friction against wet roads.
