Far East ex Japan

Article Abstract:

United Kingdom individual savings accounts (Isas) have been criticised for being complex, but they do offer more opportunities for investing abroad with tax advantages. Many investors are attracted to the far East, where they see economic recovery, though the Japanese economy is developing in a separate way from its neighbors. There are still risks involved in the market, such as the impact of a possible drop in US stock prices, or a devaluation of the Chinese currency.
