Fluorescence nanoscopy goes multicolor

Article Abstract:

A powerful method of multi-color labeling in fluorescence nanoscopy is described by using photoswitchable fluorescent labels. These labels have allowed simultaneous optical imaging of multiple target complexes inside fixed cells like the distribution of biomolecules in a cell with nanometer spatial resolution.

Near-field optics: from subwavelength illumination to nanometric shadowing

Article Abstract:

Research reveals that near-field optics technique bridge between optical imaging and scanned probe microscopy and that integration of near-field and scanned probe imaging solve inverse problem in optical imaging. Data show that the technique channels light source to nanometric domains.
