Fred Meyer Inc. - FMY
Article Abstract:
Insiders at Fred Meyer Inc. have been buying more stocks, making the company one of a few retailers whose insiders remain optimistic about their stock's price. However, recent reductions in the company's earnings estimate and falling share prices fail to bear out insiders' expectations. Nevertheless, investors should be advised that these shares could be potential bargains and should be closely watched. Fred Meyer operates 97 department stores and 30 specialty stores, most of which are located in the Northwest.
