Beta-cell precursors-a work in progress
Article Abstract:
The finding that single murine adult pancreatic precursor cells can generate progeny with characteristics of neuroectodermal and pancreatic cells including beta cells is studied. ItEs seen that the adult pancreatic progenitor cells have been found to make clinically useful insulin producing cells.

Jumping genes and containment
Article Abstract:
The transfer of foreign genes from the chloroplast to the nuclear genome of tobacco is described. The proofs of genome projects suggest that the cytoplasmic organelles have lost many genes during evolution.
