The Fuji Frontier is more than just a photo minilab, being able to handle jobs that were considered complex in the past, according to Manny Almeida, general manager of Fuji Photo Films. Almeida adds that the Frontier can make prints at a lower cost than was possible in the past. The machine also makes excellent prints since it comes with a laser engine system, and with the way it scans the image and then uses the three-color laser to image the scan onto the photographic paper.

Reger Studios is a successful photofinishing laboratory located in Munich, Germany. It was established in 1947 by Hans Reger and is now operated by his children, Marcus, Sybille and Frank. In the 1950s, Hans Reger decided to concentrate on the professional market and sold the amateur unit of his firm to another company. The firm prides itself on being technologically advanced. It was the first to use the Durst Lambda printer and the totally digital studio.
