The Internet Developers Assn. is developing guidelines for writing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for a World Wide Web site. Proposed guidelines include the need to classify companies into three groups to better serve the needs of target companies. Several types of qualifications must be evaluated including experience in Internet marketing strategic planning, knowledge of online, design skills and connection speeds for servers.
