Article Abstract:
The capacity to effect site-specific gene manipulation in a large mammal, as demonstrated in the sheep, dolly, should advance basic research of the genetics of animal growth and foster reproducibility and efficiency of gene modification. Specific agronomic traits and improved meat/milk products will result.
