Article Abstract:
Recent declines in consumer revolving credit may be an indication of slowing consumer debt growth, sending the prices of major bank stocks flying. Further contributing to the bullish outlook for the banking sector are lower interest rates. However, some investors are wary of procuring bank stocks, given heavy insider selling in some major banks. In this regard, investors should exercise caution before putting or increasing their holdings of bank stocks.
