Gotta buy 'em low.... sell 'em high
Article Abstract:
Insiders normally accummulate stocks at their historically lowest prices. At such levels, these stocks are usually being avoided by the mainstream market, but insiders' interest suggest high future growth potential. The case of Baker Hughes bears this out. Similar activity has been observed for two textiles companies, the stocks of which are depressed due to fears of cotton price rises. However, insider actions at Fieldcrest Cannon Inc. and Westpoint Stevens Inc. belie these fears and suggest that these stocks are a good buy in Mar. 1995.

Orthologic Corp. - OLGC
Article Abstract:
Observed fluctuation of Orthologic Corp.'s securities did not hinder the company's employees acquisition of 32,000 shares at $4.88 to $5.06 each from Aug 6 to Aug 19. Among them were the company's Pres and Chmn Dr. Allan Weinstein, Dir Fredric Feldman, Dir and Beneficial Owner Elwood Howse Jr., and Maryann Miller, Human Resources VP. It was believed that the inconsistent price of the shares was not the precursor of their purchases.

Insider exuberance doesn't match market's
Article Abstract:
An increase in insider selling was observed in May 1997 with the Sell:Buy ratio reaching an average of 2.3 to one. The increase is basically attributed to the growth of the volume on the sell side. The beginning of a trend in this volatile market is being observed as the stock market rally continues. Insiders are slowly increasing their investments while other stock market players wait for further developments.
