Grey's MediaCom links 71 nations; operation already at work on global telephone campaign

Grey Advertising has announced its intention to group its media activities in 71 countries under one entity to be called MediaCom Worldwide. This strategy follows a similar move by J. Walter Thompson Co. The advertising firm cited the need to uphold the quality of its training system and staff as one reason for the organizational restructuring. Furthermore, it stressed that the expected advantages from international business-to-business promotional activity are quite evident.
