Thinkpad 701C is a new laptop computer developed by International Business Machines Corp. (IBM), code-named Butterfly. The 701C has a split keyboard and a 10.4 inch display. The main advantage of the machine is the reduction of form factor of a full-sized notebook computer to that of a subnotebook and its light weight. One of the interesting features is the ease with which the keyboard folds and unfolds.

The car, which measures only 12 feet, weighs under 2,000 pounds, and offers fuel consumption of 47,9 miles per gallon, already boasts 200,000 sales in Europe, with a further 100,000 in Brazil. Safety features include dual airbags and strong body structure, along with anti-lock brakes, responsive steering and good visibility.
