In search of greatness

Article Abstract:

The difference between a reasonably successful accountancy firm and a truly magnificent one is, in general, the ability to attract and retain the right type of client as well as to achieve significant sustainable profitable growth. Six more detailed attributes that are needed to build a great firm are presented, including designing the future, leadership, and people.

The newly-formed Global Accounting Alliance's (GAA) new passport for member services might be the answer to combining local and global knowledge for accountants in the capital markets. The different types of services offered by GAA institutes are presented.
