Intelligent Environments: rocky debut
Article Abstract:
Intelligent Environments has been launched on the UK Alternative Investment Market (Aim)pulling in 15.6 million pounds sterling. Venture capital backers have received much of this. The company's share price fell in Jul 1996 and this could be linked to wariness over technology stocks in the UK and problems in absorbing new issues in the UK market. The company is likely to report a loss in 1996 and 1997 but could achieve a profit of 1.68 million pounds sterling for 1998, according to Teather and Greenwood.
