Some clues to help sort out what's making news...

Article Abstract:

Amgen stock rose by 10 points to a price of $70.75 on Feb. 8, 1995. This rise continues a steady increase on stock value from as low as $40-$50 in the summer of 1994. Despite the increase, insiders are holding onto their shares, suggesting that the increase in Amgen share prices is supported by real value. Insider selling in precious metals has also wound down as stock prices in this sector have fallen. Strong market performance in 1995 has also encouraged more insider buying, which may lead to an overbought market in the near future.
