Is the use of ergonomics measures associated with behavioral change phases?
Article Abstract:
A study tested the hypothesis that the absolute number of completed behavioral change phases (ABP) and the sequentially ordered number of completed behavioral change phases (SBP) are positively associated with the use of the ergonomic measures by two groups of stakeholders in bricklaying companies. The data suggest that there is a higher chance of increasing the use of ergonomic measures by means of a higher ABP than a higher SBP.

Reliable exposure assessment strategies for physical ergonomics stressors in construction and other non-routinized work
Article Abstract:
The guidelines for the reliable assessment of ergonomics exposures in non-routinized work are provided. It is demonstrated that an initial estimate of the important environmental or task sources of exposure variability can be used to develop an efficient sampling strategy that provides reliable estimates of ergonomics exposures during non-routinized work.
