JSF global training plan, foreign approvals debated
Article Abstract:
A debate between senior Pentagon officials as to what extent military personnel from other nations should be allowed to join the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) training, which is given to U.S. military personnel, is presented. The State Department reviewers are under pressure to speed up approvals of technology sharing arrangements with countries participating in the JSF program as some nations are threatening to buy the fighter aircraft if the red tape is not reduced.
